Message DT Tournament at Geekway Convention May 19, 2012
I am going to be running a Dungeon Twister at Geekway in St. Louis this May. The tournament will be Saturday evening after the Trade Table event is over and everyone has had a chance to grab a bite to eat. Ideally, I would like to begin registration at 6:30pm and start the tournament at 7pm. However, as noted above those times are bit tentative until the day of the event because of the Trade Table event. I want to avoid overlap.

The tournament should be pretty quick and allow for some other gaming afterwards (like Werewolf depending on how late that event lasts).

The format will be a Swiss tournament and the number of rounds dependent upon the number of players. Each round will be 45 minutes and the forces/units will be made up by the Equal Forces method (which is simple and easily explained on site if you are unfamiliar with it.) The winner of each round will be the first to achieve 5 VP or who has the most VPs at the end of a round.

Players who own copies of DT: Prison are encouraged to bring them. I have a few of sets, but not enough if it the event fills. It would be beneficial to have enough Prison sets to allow everyone to play at the same time. Please feel free to ask any questions!

Prizes and goodies are provided by the International Dungeon Twister League ( and Asmodee. You can sign up for a free account at the IDTL website where dedicated players from around the world meet and discuss the game.
